Enjoy great music with a gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains backdrop at LOCKN' Farm./Camden Littleton

LOCKN’ Farm Summer 2021 is three weekends in a row of live music and activities in the fantastic scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The first weekend features one of the premier Grateful Dead cover bands in the country starting on August 13: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. They’ll be playing with The Slip. Late Night Garcia’s Forest improv sessions are hosted by John Medeski & Billy Martin.

The following weekend is popular jamband Goose and their “Fred the Festival,” featuring Dawes (playing both an original set and a Black Sabbath “Paranoid” set), Dr. Dog (playing their last tour ever!), Cory Wong, Hiss Golden Messenger and many more.

The summer concert series ends with Tedeschi Trucks, featuring the husband-and-wife duo of guitarist and vocalist Susan Tedeschi and slide guitarist Derek Trucks. Tedeschi Trucks will bring a very special weekend to the Farm with special guests Marcus King Band, Jon Batiste, and more the weekend of Aug. 27.

Each weekend of LOCKN’ Farm, headliners play multiple nights with different openers. LOCKN’ Farm is placing a strong emphasis on activities to enhance festival life. Patrons will have the opportunity to participate in activities like color wars, trips to a private watering hole on the Tye River, yoga, open jam sessions, biking, hiking and more.

The new reduced capacity concert series offers plenty of space to spread your wings and ample room to stretch out, so you and your crew can explore the boundless beauty and buzzing atmosphere of the Farm.

Camping under the stars or in the forest, air-conditioned RVs, furnished, and glamping-style tents amid the beauty of the Farm and mountain views are just the beginning.
