New on the trail this year is a Summer Passport promotion, where travelers can purchase a passport that takes them to nine of the craft breweries on the trail. At each brewery, trail goers will receive a commemorative embossed leather coaster unique to each stop. Cancellation stickers will also be given out at each location to fill out the passport. When all nine breweries have been visited, passport holders may turn them in to receive a free brew trail hoodie or an industrial-style brewer shirt. And of course, each stop will provide a great opportunity to try unique new brews from the various enterprising establishments. Whether you’re a craft beer connoisseur or just a novice, you’ll be certain to find a special brew (or six) that suits your palate.

The 2019 Passport also celebrates “Farm-to-Mug” craft beers that often showcase partnerships with local farm producers. On the River Rat Brew Trail, you can explore many unique flavors that include, but are not limited to: coffee, chocolate, rhubarb, peanut butter, pumpkin, strawberry, citrus, chipotle, cinnamon, peach, snickerdoodle and much more.
