Plan for a three-day weekend and attend one of the oldest Memorial Day Parades in our nation’s history leading right through our historic streets. And tack on a tour of the battlefield – perhaps by bicycle or horseback, or try a Scoot Coupe to mix it up. Each offers a brand-new perspective!

And for the foodies out there, sample award-winning hard cider and craft beer at the PA Cider Fest in June and the Gettysburg Brew Fest in August. Like what you taste? Begin your own sampling experience along the Adams County Pour Tour multi-craft beverage trail. And don’t miss the 2020 Battle of Gettysburg reenactment held July 4-5. Battle reenactments and artillery and cavalry demonstrations will bring history alive.

Later in July, you’ll find teams from across the country participating in a baseball festival abiding by rules and customs from 1864. Come see baseball played the way it was in the formative years — uniforms and all!
