The Kutztown Folk Festival (June 29-July 7) is not only a Pennsylvania tradition, it’s been named “Best of the Best” by the American Bus Association and called “one of the most unique festivals on the East coast,” by the Washington Post. What can you expect? You’ll find insight into the traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch community, plenty of children’s activities (those 12 and under are free), and the largest quilt sale in America.

Aside from quilts, you’ll find 200 of the nation’s finest craftsmen and folk artists and enjoy plentiful food, a farmers market and bread fresh from a 19th-century bread oven. There’s continuous entertainment on five stages daily and you can ride on the last remaining active horse-powered carousel in America. There’s even a Fourth of July parade. And antique-hunters can find plenty to look over in the Festival Antique Building.

Check out the early season discount coupon and head to Kutztown, Pa., for the “folk” time of your life.
