As the Recreation News team sifted through a few hundred nominations for the Top 10 Small Towns in the Mid-Atlantic feature we’re working on for the April edition, there was one theme that shined: Most of those that made nominations loved a place because of its charm.
Our top nominations for the contest were in Virginia and West Virginia, but each state in our magazine coverage area received some love from residents and visitors alike.
Moving on to round two of voting, scroll down to to see a full list of towns nominated and to cast votes for your favorite.
Make sure to share the contest — the top 10 communities with the most votes at the end of this round will have a special feature section in the April edition of Recreation News!
